World No. 1 Rory McIlroy’s luxury Northern Ireland home is up for sale with an asking price of £2m.

The five-bedroom property on the Hillsborough Road in Newtownards includes a putting green and driving range, outdoor tennis court and gymnasium.
Robinhall House is set in 14 acres and has just appeared on the market with a guide price of £2,000,000.
McIlroy bought the 6,000 sq ft house in 2009 and shared it with girlfriend Holly Sweeney before they split last year – he is now in a relationship with tennis superstar Caroline Wozniacki.
Much of the 23-year-old two-time major trophy winner’s time is now spent overseas, particularly in the United States where he is looking to win his third consecutive championship this weekend and net a staggering $10m in prize money.
In the online listing for Robinhall House, the owner’s perspective reads: “I have really enjoyed living here.
“It is a really special place which has allowed me to relax and unwind – when I get time!
“With the privacy and seclusion of the location it is hard to believe the house is only 25 minutes from Belfast centre and City airport. The space the house offers is bright and airy and there are views over the gardens and the pond from most rooms. The house has always been busy with friends and family and has suited us on all occasions.”
Meanwhile the company handling the sale believe it could draw international interest.
Michael Rodgers of Rodgers & Brown said: “I would say interest in the house will be extremely good, both locally and potentially world wide. We will have to wait and see.”
