The Lyoness Open will be the new title name of the Austrian Open.

European Tour officials made the annoucement this morning at a press conference here in the Media Centre at the BMW PGA Championship.

Lyoness backed the tournament last year but now takes over as the title sponsor.

The event is scheduled to take place from July 25th to 28th at teh Diamond Golf Club course at Atzenbrugg course.

There had been rumours the event may not go ahead this year but the signing on a new title sponsor guarantees the tournament will go ahead.
