Scheffler’s To Lose – Career Best Six Clear In Weather-Hit CJ Cup Bryon Nelson

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is a PGA Tour best six shots clear after two rounds in the weather affected CJ Cup Byron Nelson in his home city of Dallas, Texas.

Weather delays on day two meant 18 players still have to complete their second round.

Scheffler added a second round 63 to his opening 61 to move to 18-under for a 124 tally on the host TPC Craig Ranch course.

His effort is four shots fewer for 36 holes than his prior {GA Tour best of 128 at The Greenbrier eveng in 2023.

“Feeling good. I had two nice days”, he said.

“We’ll see how the scores shake out as more guys come in.

“Overall, very pleased with how I played. Yeah, pretty good. Go home, get a little bit of rest, and get ready for tomorrow”.
