The number of LIV Golf players exempt into July’s 153rd hosting of the Open Championship has risen to 14 at the close of the Asian Tour’s International Series Macau.
The top-three in Macau were each LIV golfers with Mexico’s Carlos Ortiz booking his Royal Portrush tee-time thanks to his three-shot success in Macau.
Texan and 4Aces team member Patrick Reed, who was T10th when The Open was last held in 2019 in Northern Ireland, was runner-up while American compatroit and LIV Smash GC member Jason Kokrak was third.
Heartache for Spaniard Sergio Garcia who missed a three-footer at the last that would have tied him with Kokrak and seen him also heading to The Open.
NOW RISES TO 1⃣4⃣ …

Though the next qualifier is mid-May when the leading player, and not otherwise exempt, at the close of KOLON Korea Open in South Korea will earn a Royal Portrush tee time.
