MacIntyre Scotland Bound To Recharge The Batteries Ahead Of The Masters

Top-Scot Robert MacIntyre was leaving Singapore and looking forward to 10 days at home recharging the batttiers ahead of his next event and the April 10th commencing Masters.

MacIntyre had hinted he would be adding this coming week’s Houston Open to his schedule but at the close of entries last Friday his name was not on the entry list

Instead MacIntyre indicated after a final round 68 to share ninth place at the Porsche Singapore Classic he needed a break and he was instead jetting back home to Scotland and his Oban abode where he spend time before returning to the US and his Orlando base.

With his ‘team’ present, MacInytre will then work seriously on his game for a handful of days before making his way to Augusta National so as to arrive on the Sunday prior to tee-off in the year’s maiden major.

It will be MacIntyre’s third Masters apperance but a first since 2022 though he returns the the famed Georgia golfing gem a proud two-time PGA Tour champion.

In speaking post his Singapore last day showing he remarked: “I’m needing a break.

“I’ve got about ten days off back home and then rev up the car again and go to Orlando for a four-day training camp before going to Augusta.

“The whole squad will be out there to prepare for The Masters and then we will be back on the road in the States for probably three months.

“I will drive up to Augusta on Saturday night and get to the course on the Sunday before. Yeah, looking forward to it”.
