Hatton: Celebrates Eighth DPWT Title In His 200th Tournament

LIV Golfer captured a second DP World Tour title in his last five Tour events in posting a closing 69 for a one-shot victory in the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Hatton captured last October’s Dunhill Links Championship in Scotand and since then has posted a second place finish in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, sixth in the following week’s season-ending DP World Tour Championship and then travelled to Saudi Arabia to be fifth in the Asian Tour season-ending PIF International in Riyadh.

And as far as DP World Record go:

• It is Hattons’ eighth DP World Tour title in his 200th start and his first since the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, 105 days ago
• He equals Jon Rahm as the player with most Rolex Series titles, following wins at the 2017 Italian Open, 2019 Turkish Airlines Open, 2020 BMW PGA Championship and 2021 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship
• He is the fifth English winner of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, following Mark James (1989), David Howell (1999) Danny Willet (2016), and Paul Casey (2021)
• He will enter the Race to Dubai Rankings as high as first place on 1335 points
• Looks likely to move as high as eighth on the Official World Golf Ranking, up from 17th
• It is his best finish in 10 previous Hero Dubai Desert Classic appearances was third in 2017 and 2018
• In addition to his third win at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, had four top tens from ten appearances on the 2024 Race to Dubai
• Is is a second win for an English player on the 2025 Race to Dubai, following John Parry at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open
• And Hatton is the 379th win for a player from England on the DP World Tour
