Adding to this X message it should be pointed out the tournament has only once before since the inaugural event in 2001 been reduced to just three rounds and that was two years ago in 2023 when the courses were completely flooded.
Though the event has gone through to a Monday to secure the playing of four rounds, including 2001 when Scot Paul Lawrie became the first male golfer to win using a Odyssey 2-Ball putter.
