Disappionting news that the 40th hosting of the Alfred Dunhill Links has been officially reduced to 54 holes here in Scotland.
The affects over these past two days of Storm Amy has wreaked havoc on the event including cutting short play in round two on Friday afternoon and now today when just one or two holes were played in round three of the $5m event,
The DP World Tour had announced around an hour ago (3pmish Saturday) that a decison on four round would be made tomorrow morning but that has been brought forward to now to say that the event will be just three rounds.
It does mean that sponsors Alfred Dunhill can now go ahead on Monday, weather permitting, with a double corporate outing on the Old Course.
