Scheffler Shame – World No. 1 Loses All Four Bethpage Park Matches

Scottie Scheffler has produced a shameful Ryder Cup first losing all four of his matches in the 45th hosting of the Ryder Cup.

Scheffler has been nothing like the world’s top-ranked golfer being on the losing end on two Fourball and two Foursome matches.

The Texan added to his Bethpage Park Black misery when he partnenerd Bryson DeChambeau and losing out in the Saturday afternoon Fourball 3 & 2 to the all-England combination of Justin Rose and Thommy Fleeetwood.

Scheffler had lost both Friday matches and also was on the losing end of the Saturday morning Foursomes match after he and he and Patrick Cantlay were humbled  3 & 2 to the combination of John Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.

After his dismal showing this week, Scheffler’s win at Royal Portrush in July already seems like a distant memory.

In the near nine months of 2025 before the Ryder Cup, Scheffler dominated men’s pro golf in claiming two Major victories and four PGA Tour titles, as well as 17 top 10s in 20 PGA Tour starts.
