Nick Taylor

  • RBC Ambassador is making his 14th start at the event, with his 2023 victory his lone top-10 finish
  • Held the 36-hole co-lead at last week’s Memorial Tournament presented by Workday and finished solo fourth
  • Has three top-10s in 15 starts this season, including his fifth career PGA TOUR title at the Sony Open in Hawaii, making him the most recent Canadian to win on the PGA TOUR

Gordon Sargent

  • Birmingham, Alabama native named low amateur at the 2023 U.S. Open, his best finish in six starts on TOUR

David Ford

  • Making his debut as a PGA TOUR member after finishing as the No. 1 player in the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking
  • Record-setting senior season at the University of North Carolina included five individual titles and the lowest scoring average in school history (70.13)
  • Won the D-1 Nicklaus Award and Haskins Award presented by Stifel, two of the three player of the year awards in college golf

  • Established in 1904, the RBC Canadian Open is the second-oldest non-major on the PGA TOUR schedule behind BMW Championship (1899)
  • TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course) will host the tournament for the first time, becoming the 38th golf course in tournament history (and only the eighth since 1977) to host the RBC Canadian Open
  • In 2023, the Doug Carrick-designed North Course underwent a major golf course renovation under the guidance of renowned architect Ian Andrew with consultation from the PGA TOUR for the venue to host large-scale, global championship level competition
  • Sponsor exemption Johnny Keefer finished T3 at last year’s Fortinet Cup Championship on PGA TOUR Americas, held at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course); has five top-10 finishes in 11 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour, including a win at the Veritex Bank Championship, and leads the Korn Ferry Tour Points List

In the event of a tie for a qualifying place, the player with the higher ranking in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) entering the week will be awarded the spot.
  • With 3,501 FedExCup points, FedExCup leader Scottie Scheffler has an 835-point lead over No. 2 Rory McIlroy (2,666) in the FedExCup standings
