Even though it is yet to be confirmed, Top LIV Golf star Jon Rahm has endorsed young Northern Irishman Tom McKibbin’s move to the breakway Tour.

News of shock McKibbon’s expected move to LIV emerged earlier this month particularly as the recently-turned 22-year-old is due to make his PGA Tour after having secured one of 10 places onto the Tour following last year’s DP World Tour.

McKinnon’s move it yet to be confirmed and that is expected next week following his appearance in this week’s Hero Dubai Desert Classic and when it does, it is believed McKibbon will join Rahm’s Legends X111 side.

“I can’t tell you what a good and bad environment is for Tom”, said Rahm.

“I think that’s an answer for him. I think it is a good environment as any, really. It’s just as competitive as pretty much any other tour. You have to go out there and play against some of the best players in the world, so yeah, it’s an environment in which you can grow very rapidly, as well.

“Tom’s a fantastic player, and the possibilities for him are endless whenever he decides to do”.
