“I didn’t feel as comfortable tee-to-green as Sunday but I managed my game really well and got the ball close and putt well”, Law said.
“The biggest thing I haven’t done the first few days was finish strong which I haven’t done the first three days, and that’s my caddy and I said today that was ‘C’mon, let’s finish strongly’.
“So, to finish with three birdies was brilliant and it gives me more momentum going in the right direction.
“I came here this week and like everyone else feeling nervous as it was 2017 when I was last here and everytime I was here I was excited as I thought I had nothing to lose, as I had never played on Tour before and to secure my card was really exciting.
“Whereas this week it’s not the same as I’m fighting to win back my main Tour card, so to be honest it’s not really comfortable but then to get a good score out there today was important going forward”.
Fellow Scot Ryan Lumsden let his chances slip with a 71 to be now be sharing 40th place.’
Not so for the four-time Tour winning double of Marc Warren and Stephen Gallacher who missed the cut.
