Jamieson said: “It had been a stressful last four weeks of my season, from missing all three cuts in a row, from the Dunhill Links and the two events in Spain.
” So, when I got to the Qatar Masters, I still had that feeling knowing I still needed to try and retain my card.
“To then manage what I managed to do that week really made for a joyful and relaxing journey from the Middle East back to home i Florida.
“The relief of keeping hold of my Tour card, keeping my job was an amazing feeling though what was even greater was getting home and being greeted by our three kids, and they were so excited and happy for me.
“It was nice to feel loved (smiling)”.
