Young 14-old Woods was a member of the victorious Florida High School Athletic Assocation’s Class 1A that secured a one-point victrory in the state team championship on Thursday at Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Charlie is a freshman at Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, and tied for 26th individually to help Benjamin win the title.

Watching-on was his proud father.

Young Charlie posted scores of 76-78-67 in the rainy conditions to be ranked fourth on his team behind schoolmates Jake Valentine (T-8), Brooks Colton (T-12) and Pavel Tsar (T-18). Woods also chipped in during his second round.

However, in all fairness to TW and that is he grew-up in California where these is no state championship in place.
