Back-to-back eagles on the same hole for two days running kept Richie Ramsay soaring near top of the board heading to the weekend rounds of the Volvo Scandinavian Mixed in Stockholm.
Ramsay holed two monster putts totalling 100-feet, the first measuring 40-feet on day one of the $US 2m event, and then a 60-footer at the same par-5 15th hole in his second round of 66 for a super 10-under tally on the host Ullna course just to the north of the Swedish capital.
England’s Dale Whitnell, signing for a sizzling 61 heads the mixed field by six shots, posting a course-record 61 and moving to 17-under.
Whitnell, 34, posted 11 birdies as he seeks a maiden DP World Tour title.

In contrast, Louise Duncan and one of four female Scots in the combined 78 men and an equal number of women players, crashed to last with a pair of 82s.
Ramsay, 39, was out in the afternoon half of the draw, sandwiching two birdies at the seventh and 14th holes among a dozen pars.
He then stepped-up to the 15th hole, measuring 472-yards but finding the left rough from where he played a super 171-yard shot, finding the front right-side of the green, and from where Ramsay calmed rolled-in his 60-footer for a second eagle at 15 in two days.
The World No. 177 was now seeing the hole like a bucket, birdieing his closing two holes as he now eagerly eyes a fifth Tour title.
He said: “The 15th hole has been pretty kind to me this week, and it will be nice to keep that going over the weekend.
“It’s a great, little bonus when you’re about 50, 60-feet away, as you are just trying to just roll the ball up to tap-in distance, so to hole the putt was a great bonus.
“Then to finish off with two birdies was also great. The game is in really good shape. I’m just trying to do stuff that makes me happy, and keeping myself upbeat.
“I have been down a bit down on myself the last few weeks but plenty of positives these two rounds, though tomorrow is another day but I would love to be in the mix come Sunday.
“This is a place I enjoy, a course I enjoy and great crowds in attendance”
Next best of the Scots is Marc Warren, winner of the event 17-years ago, adding a second day 70 to his opening 71 to be sharing 20th place at three-under.
Aberdonian David Law with rounds of 71 and 72 made the cut right on the one-under par.
Not so good for nine other Scots, including four women tartan starters in missing the cut, including also Robert MacIntyre with a third weekend off this year in a dozen events after scores of 71 and 75.
