Bryson DeChambeau joked he was going onto ‘Instagram Live’ to get fans’ opinions after muscling his way to a one-shot lead at 11-under par on day two of the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas
DeChambeau posted 10 birdies but sticking out like the proverbial dog’s hind leg was a 16th hole double-bogey when he lost his drive left into bushes and had to take a penalty drop.
However, it was good enough for an eight-under par 64 to lead his three victorious USA Ryder Cup team-mates in Collin Morikawa (66), Tony Finau (66) and Brooks Koepka (67) and each on 10-under. Rory McIlroy struggled with a 71 to be back at seven-under.

DeChambeau said: “I just felt I was playing good golf and controlling the golf ball so I had a lot of fun out there.
“And what happened on 16, I just hit a bad drive so I am going to work on that on the range, and I will be going on ‘Instagram Live’ if anyone wants to help me with my golf swing (smiling). I just want to show the public and I may answer any questions they have”.
DeChambeau later remarked he was only joking about going onto Instagram Live.
