Paramus, New Jersey …
Current FedEx Cup No. 2 Justin Thomas reckons he has found the key to a hopeful third Tour title this year.
The recent WGC – Bridgestone Invitational winner is among the favourites teeing-up in this week’s Northern Trust and the opening event of the lucrative Play-Off Series.
And the key for the 25-year old is not what you would expect to hear from the average 25-year old male.
“If I have an opportunity to be in bed at 8pm this week, I’m going to do it,” he said.
“I would love to be asleep by about 8.15 tonight. I don’t know if it’s possible or not but rest is going to be important this week.
“It sounds weird, but that two hours of extra sleep this week could make a big difference given the early tee times.”
Wishing JT a good night’s rest.
