PGA Tour player Bud Cauley is hospitalised in nearby Columbus after Golf Channel reports of being seriously injured in a car accident late Friday night local time.

Florida golfer Bud Cauley reportedly in a Columbus hospital after being seriously injured in a car crash late Friday.
The 28-year old Florida golfer was a passenger in car and with Cauley’s manager advising he suffered five broken right ribs, a collapsed right lung and a fracture to his lower left leg.
Cauley had been contesting the Memorial tournament in Dublin, Ohio but missed the halfway cut by nine strokes with scores of 77 and 76.
He was scheduled to compete in a U.S. Open sectional qualifier Monday in Memphis but has withdrawn.
In February, fellow PGA Tour player Bill Haas was a passenger in a Ferrari that was involved in a crash that killed the driver during the staging of the Genesis Open at Pacific Palisades near Los Angeles.
Haas was also conveyed to hospital but was later released. He withdrew from the event and did not return to the Tour for a month.
