Albany, Bahamas …
Just after 12 noon local time the long 301-day ended with Tiger Woods being introduced onto the first tee of the Albany courses and venue for the 2017 Hero World Challenge.
Woods teeing off after a long 10-months on the golfing sidelines was probably the most-watched golfing moment all year.
Woods partnered reigning PGA Champion Justin Thomas and after the official introduction Woods found the fairway.
Then at the par-5 third hole Woods outdrove playing Thomas before pulling his 2-iron approach shot and could be heard saying to himself: “Oh, be good. Be good!’
It was perfect with Woods finding the green and setting-up a two-putt birdie ‘4’.
That didn’t take long. @TigerWoods is in with birdie at No. 3 to move to (-1).#QuickHits pic.twitter.com/Xu1CVvtEhY
