Palm Harbor, FL …
The nearly two-year old daughter of Henrik Stenson quickly endeared herself to golf fans around the world with her dash to greet her father, Henrik during the second round of the Valspar Championship.
Alice Stenson is the Stenson’s third child who turns two in four months made a dash for her father as he walked down the second hole of the Copperhead course on route to an eventual round of a level par 71 to remain at eight under par.

“The family drove up from Orlando today to hang out a little bit, so I see she’s on TV again now,” said Stenson.
“She loves being inside the ropes, same as you guys. She’s done it before so today was not the first time.
“And it’s always nice getting a little hug and a kiss, and that’s never bad”.
And after remarking he had ticked one box yesterday in preparation for next month’s Masters, the Open Champion indicated he felt he ticked another box in showing plenty of patience after dropping two shots in his opening five holes before settling down to tough out the conditions with birdies at his sixth and 10th holes before ending with eight pars.
“It was a different golf course this afternoon and as such my patience was very good and I felt I remained very level-headed throughout the day,” he said.
“It had it’s challenges and my short game was pretty good and when you get the wind slightly wrong it’s easy to short-side yourself and that’s where the two bogeys came about by being in the wrong place.
“So all in all, I can’t complain. I am not quite where I want to be with my ball-striking but I have time to work on that.”
However Stenson then was led off for a random drugs test and did so by hopping up-and-down in the air.
“Maybe I can squeeze out a few drops,” he joked on route to the privacy of the clubhouse.
