Bachhus Lotus Rock 97th PGA Championship Patrons.

It had been another long day reporting on the 97th PGA Championship and day abruptly halted by a voilent electrical storm that lashed the Whistling Straits area.

However in alighting from the media shuttle bus to the car par we began hearing sounds eminating from a barn-like structure on the edge of the car park.

A little investigating and it turned out the band is called – BACHHUS LOTUS.

And the lead singer informed me they are based just down the road in Sheboygan in upstate Wisconsin which is about an hour’s drive north of Milwaukee.

The band delighted those including myself in relaxing with a cold beer with a number of tunes in a great version of ELO’s 1977 hit that went to No. 6 on the U.K. charts.

Hereunder is my video on the song and hope you enjoy it as much as we did following a long day at the year’s final major.
