It was pretty quiet day, so when good friend George Morris asked if I could help out with an odd job I was only too pleased to pop over to his house.
However on arriving at George’s house there was a local electrical blackout.
So rather than waste our time George and I got a bucket of warm soapy water along with a broom and crossed the main road to St. Andrews. The task was to clean a handful of moss and grime discolored road signs given there was little hope of relying on the local Fife Council .
Here’s a couple of snaps from our community service exercise this morning.

Bernie takes a broom to badly discoloured road signs opposite good friend George Morris’ Crail abode.

Fife Council now spared the task of at least cleaning one set of so many signs in the region discoloured by years of grime and moss.
