Rory McIlroy Upstaged By Young George In Australian Open Junior Clinic … Video.

Double Major winning Rory McIlroy found himself upstaged by a Sydney youngster during a clinic the Northern Irishman hosted after competing in today’s Pro-Am ahead of the Australian Open at Royal Sydney.

George (last name not known) is a junior member at the Oatlands Club where former Australian Open and Australian Masters champion Peter Lonard was once the resident professional before earning his PGA Tour card.

George was among 250 youngsters from all over Sydney who applied to be present at the clinic.

And despite ‘duffing’ his first shot, George delighted McIlroy firstly sporting Nike golf shoes before managing to superbly connect with his second shot.
