Welshman Jamie Donaldson has won himself the amazing prize of 1 million Turkish Airlines air miles for an ace at the par three, 16th hole on the final day of the event here in Belek.
Donaldson recorded the first-ever hole-in-ace in the event when he hit a 180-yard 7-iron that found the bottom of the cup.
It helped him post a final round nine under par 63 to grab second place at 22-under par behind Frenchman Victor Dubuisson.

Donaldson remarked the ace was the fifth of his career but only his second in European Tour competition.
The Welsh golfer also has jumped to fifth on the Race to Dubai and to fourth on the European Ryder Cup points table.
“The hole-in-one on 16 was mad as I hit a really good shot and it was always going to be close but to see it go int was fantastic,” he said.
However when asked if he was aware of the prize he said: “I forgot actually. It’s mad. It’s weird when it goes in. You hit it down the flag and you’re hoping in the air it is going to be close and it lands and vanishes, and it’s like, where has the ball gone.
“It was great, and the fact that you get something for it, as well, is nice.”
