For those that know Boo Weekley you know that the American is a very down to earth guy.
He was member of the 2008 USA winning Ryder Cup team at Valhalla when he endeared himself to everyone with his ‘horse riding’ antics in the series of matches won by the Paul Azinger captained team.
So it should come as no surprise when Weekley was put before the TV camera’s the World No. 52 dealt he kept that same composure despite some average questions in shooting a round of 67 to be tied in second place in the WGC – HSBC Champions.
Hereunder is those questions put to Weekley:-
Qn: “How do you like being here?” Weekley – “It don’t matter – we’re here.”
Qn: “We’ve seen you in China for the World Cup before, you seemed to get on with that and enjoy the culture?” Weekley – “Yeah it’s fun. Just can’t understand them.”
Qn: “Have you done anything this week, or is it just hotel and golf course?” Weekley – “You said it exactly, hotel golf course.”
Qn: “That’s a shame, you come to another part of the world, you should see something?” Weekley – “I’m all right. I don’t need to see nothing. I’m all right”.
Qn: What is about Bagdad, having you and Bubba at the top of the leader board in a World Golf Championship event like this.” Weekley – “Im not from Bagdad. He’s from Bagdad. I’m from across the river from him. I’m from East Milton.”
Qn: “It’s close?” Weekley – “It is close but it’s different.”
Qn: “Good to see you up that leader board keep it going.” Weekley – “I appreciate it, thank you.”
