Maintains No. 1 position in FedExCup standings with 3,031 points.
It is his 18th career World Golf Championships title in 42nd start.

His tally of 79 victories is three wins shy of Sam Snead’s all-time PGA Tour record of 82 victories:

* Sam Snead – 82; 79th (1960 De Soto Open) at the age of 47 years, 10 months.
* Tiger Woods – 79; 79th (2013 Bridgestone Invitational) at age of 37 years, 7 months and 5 days.
It is also Woods 18th PGA Tour victory in final start before a major.
As well, it is the 10th season when Woods has won five or more PGA Tour victories, first all-time:
