Super Caddy John ‘Ronnie’ Roberts Declines Leaping Off Rainbow Bridge After Oak Hill Let Down.

Less than a day earlier and super caddy John ‘Ronnie’ Roberts could have easily jumped off the Rainbow Bridge crossing the Niagara River that seperates the USA from Canada.

After all his hard work and toil ‘Ronnie’ was naturally bitterly disappointed, Brett Rumford of Australia missed the halfway cut in the 95th PGA Championship with scores of 70 and a shock second round 77 at Oak Hill in suburban Rochester.

However the Bournemouth bagman displayed his professional qualities by moving on from the disappointment and is already eagerly looking forward to ‘their’ next challenge – the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles in Scotland.

In fact earlier today (Saturday), he joined Neil Squires, golf correspondent for the London Express and your author on a visit to Niagara Falls located about an 80-minute drive west of Rochester.

And while a Canadian border officer was warned of ‘Ronnie’s’ entry into Canada, there was never going to be any cause for alarm or concern as Ronnie clearly enjoyed the journey to one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world.

Hereunder is a few snaps of Ronnie’s visit to Niagara Falls.
