As you have gathered from an earlier story three of us jumped into the car early on Saturday morning to visit Niagara Falls around 100 miles from where we have been residing here in the Rochester area.
I have had the occasion to visit the Falls twice before in both summer and winter so it was withe some eagerness I was keen for a return inspection.
And the sight of both the American Falls and the Canadian or Horseshoe Falls didn’t disappoint.
It is reported some 156,000 gallons of water flow every second over the American Falls whereas some 600,000 gallons a second pour over the Canadian Falls.
Here is a selection of photographs from the visit.
