The opportunities in more detail…

Captains’ Golf: A traditional element of Year to Go celebrations, 18 junior golfers representing the unique ClubGolf programme will play 9 holes at the PGA Centenary Course with Paul McGinley and Tom Watson in a special event to mark the fantastic legacy of The 2014 Ryder Cup

An Audience with The Ryder Cup Captains: Taking place at Perth Concert Hall where official accredited media will be invited to this public event. The evening is being held to give people a chance to get up close and personal with the Ryder Cup Captains. Focused around a ‘fireside’ Q&A with the Captains, hosted by Dougie Donnelly, the event will include entertainment from an up-and-coming comedian and Scottish musical acts (to be confirmed).

Press conference (live TV/teleconference): As part of a series of celebrations and events to mark a year to go until the start of The 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, this will be the first opportunity journalists will have had to interview both US and European Team Captains at the same time.
