Jose Maria Olazabal Leaves Augusta Spectator In A Bloody Mess After Errant Shot.

Double Masters winner Jose Maria Olazabal left a spectator in a bloody mesh with an errant shot on the first official day of practice for the 2013 Masters.

Olazabal, the last European to don the Green Jacket back in 1999, accidentally struck the fan with his shot on the eighth hole at Augusta National.

The male spectator collapsed to the the ground clutching his head with his hand before being escorted away by medical staff.

Olazabal arrived at the scene to see the spectator being attended to by medical staff who had rushed to the scene.

The Spaniard apologised to the spectator and after establishing he was in good hands, Olazabal pulled out one of his golf gloves and signed it for him.
