One of the highlights of the week during the Arnold Palmer Invitational was attending a dinner on the Saturday night of the tournament.

Far too often we travel to golf tournaments and far too often tournament officials and sponsors do little to recognize the importance of the media in their role in diseminating news and information about the tournament.

So how nice it was to receive an invitation from IMG’s Bev Norwood and Tournament Press Officer, Tracey Dent to be the guests of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The dinner was held with the wonderful surrounds of the Bay Hill clubhouse that in many ways is a shine to the King – Arnold Palmer.

So thank you very much to Mr. Palmer, his tournament staff and in particular to Bev and Tracey for a wonderful evening and  superb dinner.
