Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer were once the fiercest of golfing rivals but now their side by side on supermarket shelves.

Sports Illustrated rated their on-course rivalry the fifth all-time greatest behind tennis superstars, Roger Federer and Rafal Nadal.

Between then Nicklaus and Palmer won 25 Major Championships with the pair also finishing 1 & 2 in four different major championships. Nicklaus won his first major in a Monday playoff over Palmer in 1963, and Palmer won his only U.S. Open when he came from seven back in the 1960 Open.

Nowadays they are the best of friends.

They were also spotted side-by-side in a local Tampa Bay supermarket as www.golfybytourmiss.com pictures below show.
