Lawrie will continue to serve as an ambassador for Aberdeen-headquartered FirstGroup for another year.
The company has sponsored 43-year-old Lawrie and his eponymous Junior Golf Foundation since 2007.
“I’m very grateful to FirstGroup for their continued support for me, both personally and through my foundation,” said Lawrie.
“I have a long-standing relationship with them, as one of my early sponsors, and I am delighted to continue our association throughout 2013.”
FirstGroup marketing manager Avril Gill added: “Paul’s contribution at the Ryder Cup was remarkable. As a company, we are very proud of his overall achievements.
“We have a long and successful relationship with him and, indeed, we named one of our coaches in Paul’s honour earlier this year, following his victory at the Qatar Masters.”
Lawrie is currently on a two-week break from competition after missing the cut in the Alfred Dunhill Links before returning for the October 25th commencing BMW Masters in Shanghai, China.
