William Hill cannot split Tiger Woods and Adam Scott at the half way stage of the Open Championship, making them 3/1 joint favourites to lift the Claret Jug.

The second round leader, Brad Snedeker, is 4/1 with Graeme McDowell 16/1 and Luke Donald 25/1.

“We are only half way but Tiger will have the biggest smile on his face as he goes to bed tonight.  He would be a terrible result after we offered 10/1 on Wednesday,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
