Tiger Woods – His Many Moods During A 2012 Pre Masters Press Conference.

It generally agreed by those present that it was one of Tiger Woods’ brighter news conferences featuring the four time Masters champion.

So often a Woods press conference can be very clinical and with journalists struggling to get anywhere near a decent story.

But on the occasion of Woods 18th year competing at Augusta it was a conference conducted in the Media Centre at Augusta where Woods provided some excellent copy.

There was not one question on Hank Haney’s controversial book but questions where Woods spoke of issues ranging from declaring Rory McIlroy to have all the hallmarks of being a great champion to when Jack Nicklaus led Woods onto the Par Three course in 1995 in order to try and defeat Arnold Palmer in a skins match after the two golfing greats had finished all square after 18 holes on the championship course.

Here is a selection of snaps taken of Woods during the course of the 20-minute conference.
