Popular Frenchman Gregory Bourdy could not be playing better heading into an important two-week period of the season.
The Bordeaux-born Bourdy joins Raphael Jacquelin next week representing France in the Omega Mission Hills World Cup of Golf in China.
And a week later Bourdy returns to Hong Kong where he captured the UBS Hong Kong Open title two years ago.

It was Bourdy’s third Race to Dubai success since joining the European Tour full time in 2005.
However while Bourdy looks forward to representing France and then seeking to win a second UBS Hong Kong Open title, he’s also very much in contention for victory in the rain-affected Iskandar Johor Open.
After a blistering first round 64, Bourdy ended the second round near lunch on Saturday with a steady one under par 70 to be in a share of second place at 11-under par.
Included in the round was a nail-biting second shot into the par five, 18th island-like green that only just managed to carry the water.
“It only made it onto the green by a few inches, and it was a nice break for me, and I almost made an eagle,” said Bourdy.
“My putt was right on line but just ended up short. I’m not sure I really deserved an eagle, but a birdie was definitely nice.”
And while Bourdy looks to capture a fourth Race to Dubai success he’s also been pleased to spend time this week with Jacquelin ahead of the pair travelling to Hainan Island on Monday.
“There is not many occasions in pro golf where you can represent your country and it is very special for me,” he said.
“I represented France many times as an amateur in team events and I was always very happy and excited to be playing for France.
“I remember the Eisenhower Trophy event in my last year as an amateur that was played here in Malaysia. We finished second and that was very good memories for me.
“I have been speaking to Raphael and I know he is excited to be playing again for France and as a team we have a very good team, and I think we can do very well in China.
“The good thing is that I am playing well and still have a good chance to win this event now that it has been reduced to 54 holes while Raphael is also well up the leader board.
“So it would be nice if I could go to China as a winner here and if not, at least both Raphael are showing good form and that is very important.”
