Glasgow’s Ewen Ferguson remains ‘on song’ as the leading Scot heading to the third round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Ryder Cup stars Tyrrell Hatton and Tommy Fleetwood clearly are revelling in a home crowd environment to be in contention at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Javier, 31, had not been born when his father drained a 15-foot left-to-right birdie putt to win the 1984 Open Championship at the Home of Golf and Seve’s fourth of five major victories in his career.
And Javier, in his first competitive round at the Home of Golf, duplicated his much-missed late father’s effort landing a wedge shot to just ...
Top-Ranked Scot MacIntyre Not About To Hang-Up His Shinty Stick
Oban Celtic’s Bob MacIntyre tees-up in this week’s 20th Alfred Dunhill Links Championship sporting a bunch of bruises from his side’s 8-nil thumping last Saturday of Aberdour.
As the best golfers in Europe were struggling last Saturday along the shores of Lake Michigan, MacIntyre was loving being in the deep end of the Mowi Senior C League at Silversands.
And while Rory McIlroy missed-out in contesting the 2015 Open at St. Andrews after injuring his leg in a friendly football match, MacIntrye ...

Shane Lowry has expressed his disgust at what he described as the ‘dog’s’ abuse directed by beer-fuelled U.S. fans at his wife and father at last week’s Ryder Cup.
The proud Irishman is highly-critical of a minority of fans in singling out his wife, Wendy and father, Brendan as they walked the Whistling Straits course supporting Lowry.
Lowry, and making his rookie European Team debut, revealed he had warned both to expect comments and not to antagonise anyone by answering back ...
