Padraig Harrington had good reason to feel short-changed after signing for a four-under par 68 on the opening of the AVIV Dubai Championship at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. It is understood European Tour CEO Keith Pelley has afforded the Masters winning duo of Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed ‘special permission’ to tee-up in next week’s season-ending DP World Championship at Jumeirah Estates here in Dubai. Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher will celebrate his 600th European Tour when he tees-up in the AVIV Dubai Championship on the Fire Course at Jumeirah Estates here in Dubai. Gallacher, 47, made his Tour debut in the then Bells sponsored Scottish Open at Gleneagles.    The young Scot was still an amateur and received an invitation to tee-up on the Kings Course.
