Ireland’s David Higgins has commenced a new European Tour season with his lowest round in over a dozen years
Higgins picked off nine birdies but also had three bogeys for a six under par 64 and a one stroke lead on day one of the Hong Kong Open in suburban Fanling.
It is one of Higgins lowest round since a career low of a nine under par 62 on day two of the 2001 Telefonica Open de Madrid.
