Wood Returns To Qatar 13-Years On From His First Tour Win
This week’s 29th edition of the CB Qatar Masters is special for Englishman Chris Wood.
It marks the 13th anniversary of the then 25-year-old brilliantly eagled the 18th hole to secure a maiden DP World Tour victory, coming from behind to overhaul Sergio Garcia and George Coetzee, who finished a shot back.
Wood headed into the last day in Doha enjoying a three-shot lead over former U.S. Open champion Michael Campbell, Simon Khan and Alexander Noren after the third round.
