Danish Training Ship ‘Georg Stage’ Visits Crail.

There was the spectacular sight last week with the Danish-built training ship Georg Stage visiting Crail. The 213 tons three mastered ship was launched in 1934 and its home port is Copenhagen. However the ships visit to Crail caused much interest among residents and visitors alike. The ship serves as a training-platform for sailors from Denmark and is owned and operated by the independent foundation Georg Stages Minde (in memory of Georg Stage).
