Ireland’s Peter Lawrie stormed into the then clubhouse lead with a blistering eight-under par 62 and his lowest-ever round in 358 events on the European Tour.
Lawrie posted nine birdies and just one bogey in his round to move to nine-under par on the Crans-sur-Sierre course.
