Former Open Champion Paul Lawrie has officially launched his inaugural Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Match-Play Championship at the Murcar Links Golf Club just north of his beloved Aberdeen.
Sixty-four players will tee-up in the event being staged from 30th July to 2nd August.
It is the first time in Lawrie’s illustrious career, capped by his Open Championship victory in 1999 at Carnoustie, the Scot will also play host to a European Tour event.
