Ewen Ferguson was in good spirits heading into the weekend rounds of his first event of a new year and this despite making a penalty splash with his very first competition shot a day earlier at the inaugural DP World Tour’s Dubai Invitational.
Ferguson, who now calls Dubai home, posted a bogey-free second day three-under 68 to head into the weekend rounds sharing 10th place at five-under on the host Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club course.
