For a second time this year the World’s top two golfers will go head-to-head with Martin Kaymer and Lee Westwood being grouped for the first two rounds of the 2011 Masters. Augusta National officials released the draw near lunch today with the World No. 1 ranked Kaymer and World No. 2 Westwood along with American and World No. 10 Matt Kuchar teeing up at 10.19am local time Thursday. A severe overnight electrical storm had Augusta National staff working overtime to clear the debris of fallen trees and leaves from the Masters host venue. The storm hit the Augusta region late on Monday night bringing down power lines and trees. One of the many stately trees on Magnolia Lane came crashing down with a portion of the tree falling on the roadway. Greens staff took to the fallen tree with chain saws while all about the course other greens staff were busy ridding the course of leaves ...

Graeme McDowell’s declared it’s time to end Europe’s 12-year Masters winning drought. Exciting American superstar Rickie Fowler was gently reminded of the pomp and procedures of Augusta National. Fowler, 22 was the first in the Masters Media Centre and in his debut appearance in the season’s first Major.
