Ailing Portugal Open winner Tom Lewis has spent the past two nights sleeping in a pull over and trousers before being diagnosed with a stomach virus.

Young Czech golf star Filip Mzurek can breathe a huge sigh of relief after the European Tour agreed to drop of £6,000 fine imposed on him for slow play during this year’s Czech Open.
Mzurek had been fined £2,000 for a ‘Bad time’ during round one and then £4,000 and a stroke penalty for a similar offence in round two.
