World No. 1 Rory McIlroy is facing a fine following a club throwing incident at the 12th hole on the opening day of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
McIlroy had driven out-of-bounds with his second shot and after taking a one-stroke penalty then put his fourth into a greenside bunker.
McIlroy angrily reacted by tossing his club some yards forward.

The Lyoness Open will be the new title name of the Austrian Open.
European Tour officials made the annoucement this morning at a press conference here in the Media Centre at the BMW PGA Championship.
Lyoness backed the tournament last year but now takes over as the title sponsor.
The event is scheduled to take place from July 25th to 28th at teh Diamond Golf Club course at Atzenbrugg course.
