Westwood’s Worst European Tour Score In 10 Years.
Lee Westwood was left reeling on day three of the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational after posting his worst European Tour score in 10 years.

Westwood commenced his day at level par but dropped seven shots in his first seven holes before his only birdie at the eighth hole.
His score matched a similar 81 Westwood carded on day three of the 2002 season ending Volvo Masters.

Slattery celebrated his birthday 34th by slamming Chamblee’s criticism of his inclusion in this week’s lucrative WGC – Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.

Tiger Woods – A Cheese Burger, Fries & Strawberry Shake For His Firestone Lunch.
There was the strange scenario for a handful of seconds after Tiger Woods second round of the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational when he stood in front of the microphone in the Firestone ‘flash quote’ area, but with the few journalists present without a question to ask the 14-time Major Champion.
Finally, someone spoke up to ask Woods to summarize his play over the two days.

“I hit it good, made nothing, and we can go and eat now (smiling).”
However ...

Graeme McDowell’s thankful he’s avoided a WGC – Bridgestone Invitational ‘deathmarch’ this week and also not left chewing on his shoe laces over the weekend.
McDowell left the Firestone scorer’s hut having posted a three under par 67 to move to three under in the $US 8.5m event being played in very hot conditions in Akron, Ohio.
And while delighted with his effort he was specifically asked by www.golfbytourmiss.com if there was a difference in how you approach ...
