2012 PGA Championship – Strongest In World Rankings History.
Should the current field remain intact by Thursday afternoon, it would boost the 94th PGA Championship as the strongest field ever based upon Official World Rankings in history.
Since 1994, the PGA Championship has featured the most ranked players among any major championship and has brought together the most international competitors in any U.S. major.
In fact, the final Major of the season boasts the top-108 players in the world and unless a player inside the top-108 withdraws, then it will be ...

It’s been a remarkable journey for defending PGA champion, Keegan Bradley – from Altanta to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean at Kiawah Island.
Then last week Bradley reminded everyone of his credentials in capturing the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational and just a week before his defence of the season’s final Major.

Roger Chapman Says ‘I’ve Got Nothing To Lose At Kiawah Island’.
Despite a nightmare journey from England to South Carolina, U.S. PGA Championship debutant Roger Chapman declared he had nothing to lose ahead of the final Major of the year at Kiawah Island.
Champman is making his debut in a Major billed ‘Glory’s Last Shot’ and it caps an extraordinary season for the affable Englishman.
The Brit is at the centre of one of the great golf stories of the year, and in his 32nd year as a professional golfer.

Tiger Woods – ‘I’ve Got 10 Years & 41 Majors To Go Past Jack Nicklaus’.
The sound of lightning and heavy rain practically drowned out Tiger Woods pre-PGA Championship press conference today at Kiawah Island.
However there was one answer that was loud and clear and with Woods speaking up above the sound of thunder to declare he still has 10 years and 41 Major Championships to win the five Majors that would take him past the great Jack Nicklaus.
“I figure it’s going to take a career, and it’s going to take a long time,” said Woods.

Tiger Woods – One Win In 24 On Pete Dye Designed Courses.
Tiger Woods heads to this week’s PGA Championship with a one win in 24 record on Pete Dye designed golf courses.
Since a visit to Scotland in 1963 Dye has design or redesigned so many golf courses not even the now 86-year old knows.
But one thing’s certain this week’s Kiawah Island at 7,676 yards will be one of the longest, and probably the windiest, in recent Major’s history.
Kiawah’s Ocean Course is 200 yards longer than Augusta National, 450 yards longer than Olympic where Webb Simpson ...
Drama In Cleveland – Massive Trucking Company Fire.
There was high drama for my www.golfile.ie colleague, Eoin Clarke and myself ahead of departing Cleveland Airport and bound for this week’s PGA Championship.
No sooner had we awoke to get ready to leave our hotel and we could hear the sounds of helicopters hovering over our hotel around 6am.
On stepping out onto the balcony a huge ball of black smoke was coming from the direction of the airport.
First thoughts that a plane may have crashed but as it turned out a fire at the end of the road ...
