Harrington Visiting L A Specialist To Free Trapped Shoulder Nerve.

Pebble Beach, CA …

Triple Major winning Padraig Harrington will visit an orthopaedic specialist in Los Angeles later today (Monday US Pacific Time) as he continues to struggle with a troublesome shoulder.

Harrington has been carrying a pinched nerve in his shoulder since last October when he picked up the injury during the Rio Olympic Games.

The popular Irishman has undergone enormous treatment on his left left shoulder and since commencing his new season a fortnight ago, Harrington’s been competing taking pain-killers and anti-inflamatories.

“Tour Miss” listening to Padraig Harrington reveal he will be spending a fortnight in Rio watching the 2016 Olympics but then in qualifying for the Games he suffered a trapped nerve in his shoulder.

But then he’s missed the cut in all three PGA Tour events  – the Farmers Insurance Open, and with scores of 74 & 74), the Phoenix Open (72 & 71) and then also last Saturday in the AT & T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (74, 72 & 72).

Harrington’s able to tee-up but admits: ”I just haven’t got the power”.

And while Harrington’s sought to bravely shoulder the concern he’s been enduring tingling in his left hand.

”I’ve arranged to see a specialist in L A on Monday as it’s beginning to worry me a bit more,” he said Saturday at Pebble Beach.

”There’s been no pain in the shoulder but then there’s tingling feeling I am getting .

”But then the good thing these past few days is having an amateur partner has been good a good distraction as I am helping him out by reading picking lines and reading putts.”

If he’s given the okay, Harrington will go ahead and tee-up in Thursday’s starting Genesis Open on the Riviera course in sububan L.A.
